After returning from Bali on a family holiday, Shez decided to do a to help raise money for a tax debt that she had acrued over the 7 years of streaming on Twitch.

The Subathon started on the 8th of January at 7pm AEDT with a starting timer of 4 hours. I had anticipated that it would go for at least 6 hours, and my community has yet again proved me wrong that they are some of the best people to ever exist.
DAY 1
We started off with a usual stream playing Final Fantasy XIV, continuing the post story content in between Heavensward and Stormblood. While we weren't able to finish all the patch content, the Bubadinos had extended the timer to 10 hours by the time it hit 1am, and so I went to sleep with past Destiny 2 VODs to entertain anyone that tuned in during that time.
Once I had woken up we spent quite a few hours playing Pokemon: Scarlet - working on gathering BBQs to get the legendaries. That went on for a few hours before I had to take a health break and go for a walk, to which Ender became the streamer and played Risk of Rain 2 (Modded) to the chat for an hour.
By the time I had returned, $300 had been raised and the next goal was to write a love letter to a Council Member. We went back into Pokemon: Scarlet and I finally recieved the sweet for Suicune (my favourite pokemon) and went to go capture it, spending a lot of time taking photos with it.
As we rolled over to Day 2 I finished off a commission for Sir Dimetrious before picking Final Fantasy XIV to continue that patch content. Playing FFXIV went smoothly with another batch of the patch content completed. Once I grew tired of playing the game for a few hours I started sorting through my entire Pokemon Card collection to wind down for the night before retiring around 11pm.
DAY 2
We woke up around 10am with a total of $481.15 being raised and 6 hours on the clock. Going straight into more Pokemon Card sorting. I had 2 Trainer Boxes and 3 old Battle tins to sort through.
The next priority was recording the next video for my ongoing YouTube Destiny 2 Seasonal Playthrough series, as the weekly reset for Destiny 2 had happened while I was asleep, and so we went into recording that playthrough. However there were issues with the internet and so the PC required a restart.
Once that was done, I had to move onto doing my day job which is working on commissions for Sheridan Baker Art & Design. This included working on projects for Sir Dimetrious, Oxy (Vtuber) and my workplace. This went on until 5pm which was my knock off time.
The rest of the evening was Pokemon: Scarlet where I had an outbreak of rowletts so I took advantage of it to hunt a shiny, however despite using 3 shiny sandwiches I was not successful in finding one.
Frustrated with that outcome, I switched games to Final Fantasy to end off the night with some company seal grinding so that I could buy a room in the Council's free company house.
DAY 3
Similar to Day 2 I woke up earlier than expected, beginning at 10am once more. The timer was at 3h 13m with $658 raised. We started off by checking the new outbreaks in Pokemon Scarlet before continuing on to my day job working on the same projects as the day before. We were watching YouTube at the same time, before moving to watch parties while I worked on my workplace's commission to avoid doxxing myself.
Once it hit 5pm we moved to FFXIV where the company seals grind continued as well as the post-patch content. Once the seals had been achieved we moved to playing through the Alexander raids (WHICH HAVE BANGER MUSIC!) before retiring for the night at 12.30am.
DAY 4
Unlike the previous days I had slept in past my alarm, getting up at 11am. At this point the social battery was starting to drain and so I was feeling more exhausted. BUT I was very excited to be once again waking up to a channel full of 30+ people. The timer was now at 12h 29m which meant we had a full day ahead of us with content. The total raised was now $1,000.
I had forgotten to edit the video I had recorded previously so that became the first priority of the day. This gave an insight into how I edit my videos and was a great moment of explaining my process and decisions. Once the video was done it was uploaded so that Patreons could get early viewing. Like the previous days, we then moved on to working on commissions. At this stage my work for Sir D and my workplace was done, so the focus was on making Oxy's goal widget.
At 3pm I took a break to go for a walk, and Enders once again entertained chat but this time with GTAV.
Once I had returned, we spent the rest of the afternoon grinding more BBQs and catching the latest 7 star Pokemon before we started the designated Lethal Company night with the council, which was very entertaining. Ender had added new mods to our mod pack which included cats and the backrooms.
Unfortunately due to the screaming and yelling (thank you Lethal Company) I had lost my voice and had to go to bed earlier than planned to avoid any damage to the vocal chords.
DAY 5
We hit the weekend and so I didn't have to start the day off with commissions. Seb had actually come into stream and asked if I wanted to do some trials, and I realised that apart from the weekly story I hadn't played any Destiny, and it was a good weapon in the adept pool. We ended up going flawless on our first card before I felt sick of the game, and so I decided to take a break, and Enders shared Risk of Rain 2 to the chat while I went for a walk.
The afternoon then turned into a BBQ hunt on Pokemon Scarlet and we played it for a few hours before I decided to retire with more card sorting. We managed to sort through one of the tins I had before I went to make dinner and we switched to FFXIV. We managed to get to the end of the patch content to where two characters passed away and left me rather emotional.
At this time I also announced that my debt had been paid off thanks to the chat's efforts. After having a good cry I went to bed around 11pm.
DAY 6
After feeling a little embarassed regarding my crying the night before, we started off easy by playing more FFXIV LMAO. But unlike doing story content, I spent some time window shopping the marketboards since I now had a room in the Council's house. I then decided to work on my other classes to get them leveled up.
Once 1pm hit, I turned the stream over to Taura as I went to stretch my legs and go for a walk. Once I returned it was back on the commission grind, finishing my commission for Oxy - a cute little fan goal widget.
Then it was back onto the FFXIV grind for the rest of the evening.
DAY 7
This day was a little different with a more melow and relaxed mood. We began with 7hrs on the clock and $1,219.50 raised. I decided to start off with another tin of cards, with my collection total climbing to $1,950 worth with the amount of cards I had added into the system. After sorting through that tin, I did something new with the stream - which I did an IRL stream and introduced my chat to our 3 new foster kittens: Panda, Puffin and Pepper.
Once the evening hit, I tried my best to play Destiny solo to see if I could get a better roll on the sniper however my RNG just decided to take a walk and so I was not successful in that either. So after some convincing we worked on the Pokemon Scarlet Epilogue (which was crazy).
DAY 8
Day 8 was delayed, with only 2 hours left on the clock. I had made arangements with a friend to meet for lunch thinking that the subathon would have ended days before and so I was only able to make it to the stream at 3pm AEDT.
We spent the afternoon playing Destiny 2 with Seb and Ender in the chat before the timer came to its end at 5.15pm, Tuesday afternoon.
